Aisling Bea
Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian who has been around for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian appeared alongside Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comic. Bea's professional career started in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after she appeared in small roles in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. In 2012, she began appearing in sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms and similar programming. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was scheduled for a range of panel show. In 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, and also a part-time participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan, she was blessed with one sibling named Sinead. The only ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died at the age of three. Bea was three years old, though she did not know what happened to him until she turned 13 years old. In honor of her dad, she chose the stage-name Bea and in 2017, published an article on suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a an ex-professional jockey. Their family was fascinated by racing meetings and horses. As a young girl, Bea was an assistant tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early age that she was not interested in the racing industry as a job, and enjoyed performing.
